NEWS: Lil Boosie Confirms Release From Prison! []

Lil Boosie has confirmed that he will be out of prison by the end of February, reports
The Louisiana native is expected to walk free Feb. 13, but when he spoke with publicist Chew Davis, he chose to keep the exact release date quiet due to “safety concerns”.

Boosie, real name Torrence Hatch, was sentenced to eight years on a drug charge he received while behind bars for parole violation, and a murder charge. He was acquitted of murder in 2012 and pleaded guilty to charges stemming from smuggling drugs into the Angola Prison facility where he remains.

Elsewhere in the statement, the 31-year-old made clear that any post-prison gigs not approved by managers Taquari “TQ” Hatch or Johnnie Cabell are fraudulent. “I can’t wait to get out and squash all this s–t,” he promised.

Besides clearing up booking rumors, Boosie also talked new music, stating, “I think the folks are waiting for my return to the game.”

The hundreds of songs he wrote behind are about “real life” and will showcase his growth as “a son, a father, a man,” Boosie said.
