NEWS: Rapper And Label Owner, Rocko, Sues Future! [KingpinTV.net]

Future wouldn’t even have one if not for rapper/producer Rocko, who says he discovered Future, put him on the path to fame and fortune, and then got stabbed in the back.

Rocko, owner of A1 Recordings and a well-known rap artist himself, just sued Future, citing a 2011 contract he believes Future breached. Continue reading

NEWS: Ciara Is Pregnant With Future’s Baby! [KingpinTV.net]

Baby on board! Ciara is pregnant, expecting her first child with fiance Future, her rep confirms to Us Weekly. Sporting a sizable bump, the singer first made the announcement on the Tuesday, Jan. 14 episode of The View.

The “I’m Out” chanteuse and 29-year-old rapper-producer announced their engagement last October. Ciara’s rep confirmed to Us on Oct. 28 that Future (real name: Nayvadius D. Wilburn) proposed to his girlfriend while celebrating her birthday in New York City Oct. 25.

The couple began dating in early 2013, and this will be the first marriage for both. Future (who collaborated with Miley Cyrus on her Bangerz album) is already a father to a son from a previous relationship. (Ciara dated Bow Wow back in 2005.)

To pop the question, Future went all out, presenting Ciara with a huge 15-carat diamond engagement ring. The bride-to-be (a close pal of Kim Kardashian)  shared a photo of her stunning new bling with Us shortly thereafter. The Avianne & Co. ring features a large center emerald cut diamond, two slightly smaller side diamonds and diamonds on the band.

After her surprise proposal, Ciara tweeted on Oct. 27, “Today Has 2 Be Like One Of The Sweetest Days Of My Life! #TheBestBirthdayEver. If I’m Dreaming I Don’t Want to Wake up!”

“She’s a beautiful woman, amazing, incredible, everything that comes with those words, that’s what she represents,” Future, who worked on Ciara’s latest album, told Vibe this past February.  “We love being around each other and that’s just what it is. The chemistry is there. It’s amazing. She makes me happy, I make her smile.”

NEWS: Future Disses Producer Of His Own Track! [KingpinTV.net]

It wasn’t too long ago that producer K.E. on the Track was called out by Major Seven for allegedly stealing his “Devil Is A Lie” beat. Now he’s catching heat for releasing a song without permission.

K.E.’s  newest battle involves Future and the track “Rocky,” which is said to be the first single off the producer’s forthcoming I Am Music Pt. 2 mixtape. The song landed online over the weekend, apparently without the approval of the Freebandz front man.

“Who told this dumb a– n—a to leak that ROCKY track I did 3years ago…smh,” Future tweeted Saturday (Jan. 4). He followed up the post with an “#Imjustbeinghonest” hashtag, possibly taking another shot at K.E. and promoting his own single “Honest” at the same time.

The public shaming was enough to get a modest rise out of K.E., who sent out the subliminal tweets “LOL” and “Life is Good” following Future’s diss.

K.E., aka Kevin Erondu, has built an impressive beat resume featuring the likes of Nicki Minaj, Tamar Braxton, Ace Hood and Chief Keef, yet Twitter beef seems to be working out pretty well for the Florida-born producer at the moment. A day after the Future exchange made him the talk of Twitter, K.E. tweeted, “My name trending aint it? #freepromo lol.”

NEWS: Drake Finally Speaks On Beefs With Ludacris, Pusha T & Future! [TekniqueTheKingpin.com]

Drake and Common may have squashed their highly publicized beef, but that doesn’t mean that the Young Money rapper is finished airing out his dirty laundry in public. Now, the rapper addresses several other feuds he has going with Pusha T, Ludacris and Future.

In the February/March issue of Vibe, Drizzy spoke on his past beefs with rappers Future, Ludacris and Pusha T. Beginning with Future’s comments that Drake’s absence from the video of the “Tony Montana” remix was “a slap in the face,” Drake said that he has no issues with Future.

“I’ve got no issues with [Future],” he said. “I’m happy I got on the song [‘Tony Montana’].”

Drizzy then turned his focus to Ludacris, who attacked him and Big Sean on his song “Badaboom” over their hash-tag style of rap. He chalked up the diss record to an attempt on Luda’s part to capitalize off his fame.

“[Ludacris,] that’s a case of someone trying to use my marketing money to get things going again for themselves,” he said explained. “That didn’t affect my day, my month, my year. I didn’t take any of that seriously.”

Finally, Drake tackled the subject of Pusha T’s supposed diss on the song “Don’t Fuck With Me,” which featured lines like “The talk don’t match the leather/The swag don’t match the sweaters” that sparked speculation among listeners. The YMCMB star couldn’t explain the reason for possible shot, postulating that, “maybe that guy is bored.”

“[As for Pusha T’s subliminal shots,] I’ve been really open about my love for the Clipse. I don’t know [why he dissed me], maybe that guy is bored,” he touted.
